Bisquick Chicken and Dumplings

One with the simplest, tastiest and hottest main-course dinners to generate is old-fashioned chicken and dumplings. One of many factors that make this dish so well-known is how very simple it can be made. To have this recipe is a delightful choice for your family and loved ones.

1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup frozen green peas and carrots
1 cup cut-up cooked chicken
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed creamy chicken mushroom soup
1 cup Original Bisquick® mix
1/3 cup milk Paprika, if desired

Heat 1 1/2 cups milk, the peas and carrots, chicken and soup to boiling in 3-quart saucepan, stirring frequently. Stir Bisquick mix and 1/3 cup milk until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto chicken mixture (do not drop directly into liquid). Sprinkle with paprika. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.

Bisquick Cobbler Recipe

Cobblers are traditional one-pan dishes common in the UK and America. Going as far back as colonial times, cobblers were being made as a way to create a thrifty and sweet dessert. This Bisquick cobbler is very yummy! Everyone likes it.

1 cup Self rising flour
1 1/2tbsp. cocoa powder
6tbsp. butter
3/4cup sugar
1/2cup milk
1 1/2cup boiling water
1/4cup cocoa powder
1tsp. vanilla
1cup sugar

First of all heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Take a pan and then melt the butter in it. Mix flour, 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa, butter and 3/4cup of sugar in a bowl. Put vanilla and milk in it. Mix it until it becomes smooth. Now put this batter into the melted butter in the pan. Mix cocoa powder and sugar in a small bowl and put it over the batter. Take the remaining cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and stir it. Then sprinkle it over the batter. Take boiling water and pour over the top of the mixture in the pan. Place the pan in oven and bake the mixture for about 25-30 minutes. When it gets ready serve it warm with cream or ice cream.

Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

Who doesn’t love waking up to a fresh-from-the-oven cinnamon roll? Surprise your family with a batch of these easy-to-make breakfast treats. Bisquick cinnamon roll is easy and delicious meal that everyone will enjoy.

1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
3 c. Bisquick
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. cinnamon

Heat oven to 350°F. Beat egg, add Bisquick and milk. Stir to make soft dough. Knead lightly, just until smooth. Pat or roll out into rectangle 10 x 8 inches. Spread with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up tightly beginning with wide side. Seal well by pinching edge of dough into roll. Place sealed side down on ungreased baking sheet. Make cuts with scissors almost through roll at 1 inch intervals. If desired form roll in crescent. Bake 15-20 minutes. While warm, glaze top with mixture of 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 teaspoons warm water. Makes 10 to 12 slices.

Bisquick Chicken Pot Pie

2 cups frozen veggies, thawed
1 cup cooked chicken, or 1 can chicken
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix veggies, chicken and soup in a glass pie plate. In a separate bowl, mix the Bisquick, milk and egg. Pour batter on veggie mixture. Bake for 30 minutes.

Amazing Bisquick Coffee Cakes

Bisquick coffee cake is among those versatile desserts that can be served just about any time. The recipe is so fast and quick that it may literally be mixed up and baked though you chat along with your company, then served warm and tempting right from your oven. For Streusel topping:
1/3 cup Bisquick
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbs. butter or margarine
For the cake batter:
2 cups Bisquick
2 Tbs. sugar
2/3 cup milk
1 egg

Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a 9” round cake pan. To make Streusel topping: mix the first three ingredients together in a small bowl. Cut in margarine or butter with a fork or pastry blender until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside. Mix all the batter ingredients together and spread into prepared pan. Sprinkle with the Streusel topping. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown on top. Let cool for a few minutes before cutting. Serve warm.
